Pediatric Smiles is looking for a Dental Assistant to join its team in Bluffton, SC.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced dental environment and is comfortable supporting both pediatric and general dentistry.
Responsibilities include: • Chairside assisting during a variety of procedures • Preparing and sterilizing treatment rooms • Taking high-quality dental X-rays • Updating patient records in Open Dental • Reviewing medical histories and taking vital signs • Explaining procedures to patients • Maintaining strong infection-control standards
What they’re looking for: • Previous dental clinic experience preferred • Strong chairside assisting skills • Experience taking dental X-rays • Familiarity with Open Dental or similar software • Knowledge of sterilization and infection-control procedures • Pediatric dental experience is a plus • Spanish-speaking ability is a bonus, but not required
