Grey Oak Dental is looking for an experienced Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA) to join its team in Nicholasville, KY.
This role is a great fit for a dental assistant who enjoys advanced clinical responsibilities, modern dental technology and helping create a positive patient experience.
✨ Responsibilities include: • Assisting with restorative, prosthodontic, endodontic and oral surgery procedures • Taking dental X-rays • Sterilizing and processing instruments • Working with 3D scanners and digital imaging technology • Updating medical histories and taking vital signs • Maintaining accurate patient records • Supporting patient education and comfort • Following HIPAA and infection-control standards
Qualifications include: • Previous dental assisting experience • Expanded duties experience • X-ray safety certification • CPR certification • Familiarity with Eaglesoft, Dentrix or similar systems • Strong communication and teamwork skills • Pediatric or oral surgery experience is a plus
