📍 El Cajon, California 💰 $25–$29/hour 🗓️ Full-Time ⏰ Monday–Thursday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
San Diego Smiles is looking for an experienced Dental Assistant to join its general dentistry team. This is a great fit for someone who enjoys hands-on clinical work, patient interaction and being part of a supportive office.
✨ What You’ll Do • Assist chairside during exams and procedures • Take X-rays, panoramic images and intraoral photos • Assist with digital impressions • Make temporary crowns • Prepare and sterilize instruments • Maintain clean, stocked operatories • Update patient records and charting • Educate patients on post-op and preventive care • Help manage dental supplies • Occasionally assist with front-office duties
✨ What They’re Looking For • Dental background and prior dental assisting experience • 1+ year of experience preferred • Familiarity with Dentrix and Dexis • CEREC experience is a plus • Strong communication and organizational skills • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
